This page lists the cookies aimentoring.com places in your browser and explains why each one is there. Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can recognise your browser between requests.

1. Our approach

AiMentoring sets the cookies it needs to work (keeping you signed in, protecting forms against forged requests, remembering your device if you ask it to, and keeping the demo to one try), plus one first-party campaign cookie described in the table below. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social media pixels or any third-party tracking cookie. Because the cookies we use are strictly necessary for a service you request, or are first-party and set only in the situation described below, we do not show a consent banner.

2. Cookies we use

Cookie Purpose Duration
aimentoring_session Keeps your session while you browse or use the app, including whether you are signed in, your place in the signup steps and the record that this browser has already used the one-time demo roadmap 2 hours after your last activity, or until you close the browser
XSRF-TOKEN Holds a security token that confirms forms and app actions really come from our pages, protecting your account against cross-site request forgery 2 hours after your last activity
remember_web_* (followed by a random string) Keeps you signed in on this device across browser restarts, set only if you choose to stay signed in up to 400 days, or until you sign out
bm_acq Set only when you arrive through a link carrying campaign parameters (for example from one of our own ads). Records the campaign identifiers and the first page you landed on, so we can tell which of our campaigns led to a subscription. It is a first-party cookie read only by aimentoring.com 90 days

The demo limit also uses a hashed form of your IP address stored on our side, which is not a cookie. Our Privacy Policy explains how long it is kept.

When you pay, the checkout page of our payment operator may set its own cookies, which are necessary to process the payment securely and detect fraud. Those cookies are governed by the payment operator's own notice, shown on the checkout screen.

3. What we do not use

We do not place cookies to build a profile of you, to show you ads on other websites, to measure audiences through an outside analytics service or to share your browsing with third parties. If we ever wanted to add such cookies, we would ask for your consent first and update this page.

4. Controlling cookies in your browser

You can view and delete cookies and block them for any site in your browser's settings, usually under privacy or site data. Most browsers also let you open a private window in which cookies are removed when you close it.

If you block the session or security cookies, you can still read the public pages, but signing in, the demo and the app will not work, because these cookies are what keep a signed-in session secure. Deleting remember_web_* simply means you sign in again next time. Deleting or blocking bm_acq has no effect on how the service works for you.

5. Changes and contact

If the cookies we use change, we update the table above and the date at the top of this page. Questions about cookies go to the administrator of the aimentoring.com service at [email protected].
