These terms are the agreement between you and the administrator of the aimentoring.com service ("we", "us") for the use of AiMentoring. By creating an account, accepting a seat invitation or paying for a plan, you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" then includes that organisation.
1. What AiMentoring is
AiMentoring is a web application in which AI mentors (fictional personas, each specialised in an area such as sales, leadership, careers, interviews, startups, marketing, coding, languages or productivity) help you work toward a goal. The service turns a goal into a level assessment, a roadmap with monthly milestones and weekly tasks, runs chat sessions that keep a structured memory of your progress, reviews materials you upload against a framework rubric, tracks progress and sends check-ins. Company plans add workspaces, seat management and an anonymous, aggregated HR panel.
The mentors are AI, not people. Their names and personalities are part of the product design.
The service runs in a modern web browser and needs no installation. We may improve, change or remove individual features over time, provided the core of the plan you pay for remains available during the period you have paid for.
2. The demo
Before buying, anyone can generate a one-time demo roadmap without an account: you enter a goal, choose a mentor, horizon and level, and see the first milestone and the first week of tasks, with the rest locked. The demo is limited to one try per visitor, is not a plan and is not part of the price list. It exists so you can judge the format and quality of the output before paying.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use AiMentoring. The service is designed for professional and personal development and is used by individuals as well as by businesses for their staff.
You agree to give a working email address, keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect someone else has access to your account. An account belongs to one person. Activity under your account is your responsibility unless you show that it happened without your fault after you reported the compromise.
On Teams and Enterprise plans, the workspace owner controls who receives a seat, assigns roles (owner, admin, member) and may remove a seat holder. A seat holder's access ends when the seat is removed or the workspace subscription ends.
4. Plans and prices
AiMentoring is sold only as a subscription. The plans are Personal, Pro, Teams and Enterprise:
- Personal and Pro are individual plans with the mentors, active goals and monthly limits shown on the pricing page.
- Teams is billed per seat with a minimum of 10 seats.
- Enterprise covers up to 100 seats for a fixed fee, with additional seats charged per seat, and adds single sign-on, provisioning, an audit log and a data processing agreement.
Current prices, limits and features for each plan are shown on the pricing page, which forms part of these terms. Each plan can be paid monthly or yearly, and the yearly price is shown there. Prices exclude any sales tax or VAT that applies in your location. Prices are charged as shown at checkout.
One payer holds one subscription. If you already have an active subscription, a purchase through the pricing page changes that subscription instead of creating a second one.
5. Billing, renewals and changes of plan
Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period at the price then in effect for your plan, and the payment method on file is charged at the start of each new period. Checkout, your confirmation email and your account all state this. If we change the price of your plan, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the renewal on which the new price applies, and you may cancel before then.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Upgrades. When you move to a more expensive plan, add seats or switch from monthly to yearly billing, the prorated difference for the remainder of the current period is charged immediately. The new plan or the extra seats become active only after that payment succeeds. If the payment fails or needs bank authentication that you do not complete, you stay on your current plan.
Downgrades and seat reductions. Moving to a cheaper plan, fewer seats or a shorter billing period takes effect without any refund to your card for the time already paid. Any value from the change can only appear as a reduction of future charges, if our billing shows one.
Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, we and our payment operator retry it over the following days. Access may be limited until the amount due is paid. The amount for a period that has started remains due even if you cancel during that period.
Invoices. Annual Enterprise subscriptions may be paid by invoice with payment terms. Unpaid invoices past their due date may lead to suspension under section 12.
6. Usage limits
Each plan includes a monthly allowance (for example mentor messages, material reviews and active goals) and daily caps on messages, as listed on the pricing page. On company plans the allowance applies per seat.
Limits count consumption within a billing period. Every message sent, review run and goal created uses the allowance when it happens. Deleting a goal, a file, a review or a session afterwards does not give any of the allowance back. Allowances restart at the beginning of each billing period, and unused allowance does not carry over. Daily caps restart each day.
Your current usage is shown in the app. When an allowance or daily cap is reached, the affected feature pauses until the next day or period, or until you move to a higher plan. Other parts of your account remain available. No AI feature is offered without a limit.
File uploads are subject to the size limit of your plan, and files must be in a supported format and readable.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use AiMentoring to:
- create, upload or request anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or that infringes the rights of others,
- upload personal data, confidential documents or other material you have no right to share, including an employer's or client's information that you are not allowed to disclose,
- try to extract, copy or reconstruct the AI models, system prompts, mentor instructions, rubrics or other internal parts of the service, or use the service to build a competing product,
- access the service by automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts) except through features we expressly provide,
- share your sign-in details, let several people use one account or resell access,
- get around usage limits, the one-time demo restriction, payment or security controls,
- disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission or upload malicious code.
We may remove content or restrict features to stop a breach of this section.
8. AI output is guidance, not professional advice
Mentor replies, roadmaps, scores, drills and material reviews are generated by AI. They are offered as coaching guidance and practice support. They can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or unsuitable for your situation, and two requests with the same input can produce different results.
AI output is not legal, financial, tax, investment, medical, psychological, employment or any other professional advice, and AiMentoring is not therapy or crisis support. If you face a decision with serious consequences, consult a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency services.
You decide what to do with any output and remain responsible for your decisions, the work you deliver and how you use the materials you produce with the service. Scores produced in the app measure progress against the app's own rubric and are not a certification of skill.
9. Intellectual property
Your content. You keep all rights you have in the goals, messages and materials you submit. You give us a limited licence to store, process and transmit that content solely to provide the service to you (and, on company plans, to produce aggregated reports for your workspace), as described in the Privacy Policy. This licence ends when the content is deleted.
Outputs. As between you and us, you own the outputs generated for you (roadmaps, reviews, replies, reports, exports) to the extent the law allows ownership of AI-generated material. Similar outputs may be generated for other users, and you acquire no exclusive rights in them.
The service. The software, mentor personas, frameworks as implemented, rubrics, prompts, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. Apart from the right to use the service under these terms, you receive no rights in them.
Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
10. Payments are final
Payments are final and non-refundable except in the limited cases set out in the Refund Policy, which also explains the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU, EEA and UK and when it lapses.
11. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at [email protected] so we can check it under the Refund Policy. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute without doing so is a breach of these terms. When a chargeback is raised, we provide the transaction and account records to the card issuer and may suspend or close the account immediately. Nothing here limits any right you have under mandatory law to dispute an unauthorised charge with your bank.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account, a seat or a workspace, with notice where reasonable and immediately where necessary, if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, fail to pay an amount due, raise a chargeback in breach of section 11, use the service in a way that puts other users or the service at risk, or if we are required to by law.
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. Closing an account cancels the subscription renewal. After closure your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Before closing, you can export your plan and progress where your plan offers export, or request a copy of your data.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 9, 10, 11, 13, 14 and 15) continue to apply.
13. Disclaimers
We work to keep AiMentoring available, secure and useful, but apart from what these terms or an Enterprise service level commitment expressly state, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that any goal, promotion, job, deal or result will be achieved.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business opportunities or data, arising from your use of the service or of AI output.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intentional misconduct, and they do not reduce rights that mandatory consumer law gives you.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law applicable at the administrator's seat, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence, which continues to protect you if you are a consumer. Before starting any formal proceedings, please write to [email protected] so we can try to resolve the matter. Consumers in the EU can also use the dispute resolution bodies available in their country.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. We will email account holders about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you can cancel before the change applies. Changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
