For buyers
AI coaching platform you can evaluate, price and roll out yourself
This page is for the people who choose coaching software for a company: what you get per seat, how privacy is protected, what IT has to do and how the numbers compare with human coaching.
In short
An AI coaching platform is software that gives every employee a personal coach for skills such as leadership, sales or career growth, with goals, weekly tasks and feedback on real work. AiMentoring provides nine AI mentors, six company tracks, an anonymous HR panel, SSO and SCIM on Enterprise, and seats from 12 USD per month billed yearly.
What a buyer should check in any coaching platform
Coaching software is easy to demo and hard to judge. A polished first conversation says little about whether people will still use it in month four, or whether HR can see adoption without reading private chats. Before comparing prices, most L&D and HR teams find it useful to score each option on the same short list of questions.
We publish our own answers below so you can check them against the product, the pricing page and the security page, without a call.
| Evaluation question | What to look for | AiMentoring answer |
|---|---|---|
| Does it run a plan, or only answer questions? | Goals, milestones, weekly tasks, follow-up | Goal, assessment, roadmap, 3 to 5 weekly tasks, Friday check-in |
| Does it give feedback on real work? | Uploads reviewed against a rubric | 4 reviews per seat per month on Teams, 8 on Enterprise |
| What does HR see? | Aggregates only, a minimum group size | Adoption, goals, progress, skill gaps, groups of five or more |
| How do people get access? | SSO and automatic provisioning | Invite link and email domain on Teams, SAML SSO and SCIM on Enterprise |
| How are costs controlled? | Clear per seat limits, no surprise usage bills | Monthly counters per seat, visible in the panel |
| Can you buy without a sales cycle? | Self-serve checkout and invoicing | Card checkout, invoice with payment terms on annual Enterprise |
Mentors and tracks cover the programmes HR already runs
Every seat includes all nine AI mentors, from sales and leadership to interview practice, coding, marketing, language and productivity. Each is a fictional AI persona working from named methods, for example SBI feedback and a delegation matrix for managers, MEDDICC for sales teams and CEFR levels for language learning. The full catalogue is on the mentors page.
On top of the mentors, company tracks shape the goal around a programme you already have. A track defines the competencies, the default horizon and the milestones, and each employee still gets a personal roadmap from their own level assessment.
- Onboarding. A 90 day plan for new hires with weekly tasks tied to the role.
- Manager development. First 1:1s, feedback, delegation and difficult conversations, guided by Grace.
- Sales coaching. Pipeline discipline, discovery and objection drills with scoring.
- Leadership. For experienced managers moving to larger teams.
- Upskilling. Technical or functional skills mapped to your competency model.
- Internal mobility. Career ladder mapping and a promotion or move plan.
The HR panel shows progress without exposing anyone
Coaching only works if people are honest with the coach, and they are only honest if they know the company is not reading along. The HR panel is therefore built on aggregates. It shows adoption, active goals, average progress and skill gaps by team, and any group with fewer than five people shows no number at all. HR, admins and managers never see conversations, uploaded files or individual scores.
That still gives a programme owner plenty to act on. If the sales team shows high adoption but a flat discovery score after eight weeks, the next enablement session has a clear topic. If one department has low adoption, you know where to run a second kickoff. The rollout approach we recommend is described in rolling out AI coaching for employees.
Enterprise adds identity, control and data residency
Teams suits groups of 10 to about 100 people who can join by invite link or email domain. Enterprise is meant for companies that need their identity provider in control. It adds SAML single sign-on, SCIM provisioning so seats follow your directory, role based access, an audit log and the choice of an EU or US data region. Mentors can also use company knowledge you upload, such as sales playbooks or a competency model, so feedback matches your internal standards.
Enterprise comes with a data processing agreement and priority support. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You can read every control on the security page before anyone at your company signs.
Per seat pricing with the arithmetic shown
Prices are per seat and published. Yearly billing is exactly half the monthly rate. Teams is 25 USD per seat per month, or 12 USD billed yearly (144 USD per seat per year), with a minimum of 10 seats. Enterprise is 3,900 USD per month for up to 100 seats, or 1,950 USD per month billed yearly (23,400 USD per year), and each extra seat costs 39 USD per month or 19 USD per month billed yearly.
For a business case, compare with human coaching at typical market rates of about 250 to 400 USD per employee per month. A worked example for 40 managers: Teams billed yearly costs 40 x 144 = 5,760 USD a year. Human coaching for the same group at 250 USD per month would be 40 x 250 x 12 = 120,000 USD. Many companies keep human coaching for a small group of executives and give AI coaching to everyone else.
| Teams | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|
| Price billed yearly | 12 USD per seat per month, minimum 10 seats | 1,950 USD per month for up to 100 seats, extra seat 19 USD |
| Price month to month | 25 USD per seat per month | 3,900 USD per month, extra seat 39 USD |
| Messages per seat | 200 per month, 15 per day | 300 per month, 20 per day |
| Material reviews per seat | 4 per month, files up to 10 MB | 8 per month, files up to 25 MB |
| Active goals per seat | 2 | 3 |
| Access and control | Invite link, email domain, roles | SAML SSO, SCIM, audit log, data region, DPA, priority support |
Buying and rollout take days, not a quarter
There is no procurement call and no custom quote. An owner picks a plan, chooses the number of seats and pays by card, or on annual Enterprise by invoice with payment terms. Adding seats later is charged immediately on a prorated basis, and limits are monthly usage counters per seat, so the bill never grows with usage. Payments are final, and a subscription can be cancelled at any time with access until the end of the paid period.
Individual buyers looking for a personal plan rather than a company programme will find the broader picture on the AI mentoring platform page.
How to roll out an AI coaching platform in your company
- 01
Choose one programme to start
Pick a track with a clear owner, such as new manager development or sales onboarding.
- 02
Buy seats for a pilot group
Start with at least 10 seats on Teams so the HR panel has groups of five or more to report.
- 03
Invite people and set roles
Share the invite link or allow your email domain, and assign owner and admin roles. On Enterprise, connect SSO and SCIM.
- 04
Run a short kickoff
Explain what HR can and cannot see, then let each person write a goal and complete the level assessment.
- 05
Review the panel after six weeks
Check adoption, active goals and skill gaps by team, then expand seats or adjust the track.

Questions about the AI coaching platform
Can HR read what employees tell the AI coach?
No. HR sees only aggregated adoption, goals, progress and skill gaps for groups of five or more people. Conversations, uploads and individual scores are visible only to the employee.
What is the minimum purchase?
Teams starts at 10 seats, which is 250 USD per month or 1,440 USD per year billed yearly. Enterprise covers up to 100 seats in its base price.
Do you support SSO and automatic provisioning?
Yes, on Enterprise. SAML single sign-on works with your identity provider and SCIM adds and removes seats as people join or leave. Teams uses invite links and email domain sign up.
Can the mentors use our internal frameworks?
On Enterprise you can upload playbooks and a competency model so mentors coach against your standards. Teams uses the built-in company tracks.
Is there a usage based bill on top of seats?
No. Each seat has monthly limits for messages and reviews, shown in the panel, and the price is the seat price. People see a prompt at 80 percent of their allowance.
Can we pay by invoice?
Annual Enterprise can be paid by invoice with payment terms. Teams and monthly plans are paid by card at checkout.
Is AI coaching a substitute for mental health support?
No. The mentors coach on work skills and goals. They are not therapy or professional advice, and people in crisis should contact local emergency services or your employee assistance programme.
