Sales teams
Sales coaching software and sales coaching platform for every rep on the team
Front-line managers rarely have time to coach a whole team every week. AiMentoring gives each rep an AI sales coach with a pipeline plan, reviews of real calls and proposals, and drills on the stage where their deals stall.

In short
Sales coaching software is a tool that delivers structured, repeatable coaching to every rep on a team. AiMentoring does it with Maya, an AI sales coach who turns each rep's quota into weekly tasks, reviews call notes against MEDDICC and SPIN, runs scored role-play drills and reports anonymous skill trends to the sales leader.
One coach per rep closes the manager time gap
A sales manager with eight direct reports, a forecast call, pipeline reviews and their own deals usually coaches the reps who ask for it and the reps who are failing. The middle of the team, where most of the revenue potential sits, gets a monthly one to one and not much else. Sales coaching software is worth buying when it fills that middle with steady, specific practice.
In AiMentoring each rep gets a seat with Maya, the AI sales coach. The rep enters a goal such as "close 280,000 USD this quarter" or "get back to 100 percent attainment by month three", answers 8 to 12 assessment questions, and receives a skill radar from 0 to 5 across prospecting, discovery, qualification, negotiation, closing and pipeline management. From there every week has three to five tasks with due dates and a Friday check-in by email during the rep's business hours.
- Ramp for new hires. A 90 day track that moves from product knowledge to first qualified opportunities to first closed deal, with evidence to collect at each step.
- Quota recovery. For a rep behind plan, Maya rebuilds the pipeline math, picks the deals worth saving and sets a weekly coverage target.
- Role-play drills. The rep describes a buyer, Maya plays them, then scores discovery depth, objection handling, clarity of value and next step control.
- Material review. Call transcripts, proposals and outbound sequences get inline comments against a sales rubric.
What a ramping rep does in the first month
The sales coaching company track inside Teams and Enterprise gives managers a starting structure, and each rep's plan adapts from their own assessment. An example first month for a new account executive selling to mid-market operations teams looks like this.
| Week | Tasks Maya sets | Evidence the rep collects |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Write a one paragraph value statement per buyer persona, run two drills on the opening of a discovery call | Drill scores, value statements reviewed against the rubric |
| 2 | Book four discovery calls, upload notes from the first two for review | MEDDICC fields confirmed versus assumed on each call |
| 3 | Build a qualified pipeline list, practise the price objection three times | Pipeline coverage figure, objection drill trend |
| 4 | Send the first proposal, run a mutual action plan with one champion | Proposal review score, dated next steps in every open deal |
The sales leader sees team trends and never reads a rep's chat
Reps practise honestly only when practice is private. The HR and manager panel in AiMentoring shows aggregated data: how many seats are active, how many goals are in progress, average milestone completion and the skill gaps by team. A number appears only when the group behind it has at least five people, so a team of four shows "not enough members to display" instead of a figure that points at one person.
Nobody in the company sees conversations, uploaded files or an individual rep's drill scores. That design choice matters in sales, where a rep who knows the manager can read a failed role-play stops running hard drills. Leaders still get what they need for planning, for example "discovery depth is the weakest skill across the mid-market team" or "two thirds of new hires reached milestone two by day 45".
Per seat cost compared with human sales coaching
Typical market rates for external human sales coaching sit around 250 to 400 USD per rep per month when coaching is delivered every week, and individual coaches often charge 150 to 500 USD per hour. Those are general market figures, not our measurements. The worked example below uses a 30 rep team and a midpoint of 300 USD. If you are pricing a dedicated roleplay platform instead, our Second Nature AI pricing breakdown runs the same math for 50 reps, and the AI sales roleplay software pricing guide compares the whole category per rep.
- The break-even question. If one extra 25,000 USD deal closes in the year because a rep fixed discovery, the yearly Teams cost for 30 reps is covered almost six times.
- What is not in the price. AI coaching does not replace the manager's deal reviews or forecast calls. It covers the weekly practice and follow-up that managers usually cannot.
| 30 reps for one year | Monthly cost | Yearly cost |
|---|---|---|
| Human coaching at about 300 USD per rep per month | 9,000 USD | 108,000 USD |
| AiMentoring Teams, billed monthly at 25 USD per seat | 750 USD | 9,000 USD |
| AiMentoring Teams, billed yearly at 12 USD per seat | 360 USD | 4,320 USD |
Seat pricing for Teams and Enterprise
Both company plans are bought online at pricing, with yearly billing selected by default at half the monthly rate. Limits are monthly usage counters per seat, shown in each rep's panel, with a prompt at 80 percent. Deleting a goal, file or session never returns quota.
| Teams | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|
| Price billed monthly | 25 USD per seat, minimum 10 seats | 3,900 USD up to 100 seats, 39 USD per extra seat |
| Price billed yearly | 12 USD per seat per month (144 USD per seat per year) | 1,950 USD per month (23,400 USD per year), 19 USD per extra seat |
| Messages per seat | 200 per month, 15 per day | 300 per month, 20 per day |
| Material reviews per seat | 4 per month, files up to 10 MB | 8 per month, files up to 25 MB |

Enterprise teaches Maya your own sales process
On Enterprise you upload the internal playbook: stage definitions, qualification criteria, discovery question bank, pricing guardrails and the competitive talk tracks your enablement team already wrote. Maya then reviews calls against your stages instead of a generic version of MEDDICC, and drills use your real objections.
Enterprise also adds SAML single sign-on through your identity provider, SCIM provisioning so seats follow joiners and leavers automatically, role based access, an audit log, a data processing agreement, a choice of EU or US data region and priority support. The security overview lists the controls your review team will ask about. A practical guide to comparing tools in this category is in our article on choosing sales coaching software for a 10 to 50 rep team.
Where this fits and where it does not
AiMentoring fits sales teams of roughly 10 to 50 reps that want weekly coaching for everyone at a per seat price, including SDR teams preparing for closing roles and account management teams working on expansion. It is not a call recorder, a dialer or a CRM add-on. It does not listen to live calls or score them automatically. Reps paste notes or upload transcripts they choose, and the coaching works from that.
How to roll out sales coaching software to a 10 to 50 rep team
- 01
Pick the first cohort
Start with one team of at least 10 reps so the panel can show aggregates, ideally a mix of new hires and reps behind plan.
- 02
Buy seats online
Choose Teams or Enterprise at checkout, yearly or monthly, and add seats later with an immediate prorated payment.
- 03
Invite by link or email domain
Send the invite link or allow your company email domain, and assign owner, admin or member roles.
- 04
Set the company track
Turn on the sales coaching track so every rep starts from the same ramp or recovery structure.
- 05
Agree one weekly habit
Ask reps to upload one call or proposal for review each week and run one drill before their hardest meeting.
- 06
Review trends after 30 days
Check adoption, milestone completion and the weakest skill by team, then focus team meetings on that skill.
Questions about the sales coaching software
Will reps actually use it after the first week?
Adoption depends on two things the product handles: tasks tied to the rep's own quota and a Friday check-in that asks what happened. Managers help most by agreeing one weekly upload per rep. The panel shows active seats by team so you can see adoption without seeing anyone's content.
Can managers see which rep is struggling?
No. Managers and HR see aggregates for groups of five or more, never individual scores, conversations or files. A rep who wants help can share their own progress report with their manager by choice. This is what keeps reps willing to run hard drills.
Does it integrate with our CRM or call recorder?
No. Reps paste notes, upload transcripts or type pipeline numbers. Nothing is pulled from your systems, which keeps the security review short and means no customer database is copied.
What happens when we hire more reps mid-year?
Add seats in the panel at any time. The difference for the rest of the billing period is charged immediately, and the new seat is active as soon as payment completes.
Can we pay by invoice instead of card?
Teams is paid by card at checkout. Annual Enterprise can be paid by invoice with payment terms, still bought online without a sales process.
Is the coaching advice reliable enough for real deals?
Maya works from established methods such as MEDDICC and SPIN and from what the rep shares. Treat her output as coaching guidance that the rep and manager judge, not as a final decision on a deal.
